Dashboard Overview

A guided tour of the FilterIQ admin dashboard and its key sections.

Dashboard Overview

When you open FilterIQ from your Shopify admin, you land on the main dashboard. This page provides an overview of every section and what you can do in each.

Main Navigation

The app dashboard is organized into these primary sections:

Search

Configure how search works on your storefront.

  • Configuration -- Set searchable attributes, their weights, typo tolerance, and debounce timing
  • Synonyms -- Manage two-way and one-way synonym pairs, import from CSV, or apply pre-built synonym packs
  • Autocomplete -- Configure the instant search dropdown (result count, layout mode, trigger length)

Filters

Build and manage the filter sidebar that appears on your collection pages.

  • Filter List -- View, reorder, enable/disable all configured filters
  • Filter Sets -- Create collection-specific filter configurations (e.g., different filters for "Clothing" vs "Electronics")
  • Presets -- Manage layout presets (sidebar, drawer, toolbar) and config presets (show counts, auto-apply)
  • Swatches -- Configure color swatches with custom hex values or image uploads

Merchandising

Control product visibility and ranking in search results.

  • Rules -- Create rules to pin, boost, demote, or hide specific products for specific queries
  • Presets -- Apply one-click merchandising presets like "Hide Out-of-Stock" or "Boost New Arrivals"
  • Pre-Search -- Configure what shoppers see before they type a search query
  • Zero Results -- Set up fallback content when a search returns no results

Analytics

Track how shoppers use search and filters on your store.

  • Summary -- KPI dashboard with total searches, sessions, click-through rates
  • Search Queries -- Top queries, zero-result queries, query trends over time
  • Filter Usage -- Which filters shoppers use most, filter combinations
  • Performance -- Search response times, reliability metrics
  • Export -- Download analytics data as CSV

Settings

Global configuration for the app.

  • Sync Status -- View product indexing status and trigger manual re-syncs
  • Theme Integration -- Link to the Theme Editor for enabling the app embed
  • Billing -- View current plan and upgrade options
  • Support -- Report bugs, request features, contact support
